Abstract
This study is to create multi Material Condition Index(MCI) including consumption and assets in addition to income, and draw its implications to inequality structure of Korea. The main findings are as follows. At an average inequality aversion, the general mean of MCI is smaller than that of income, which means that the well-being becomes lower when considering consumption and asset in addition to income. Moreover, general mean of MCI is getting more smaller than that of income as inequality-aversion increase, which means that income is homogeneous rather than consumption and wealth within each decile. The complementarity between each sector is higher in the upper middle group of income rahter that in the lower or upper groups, which increase their economic well-being.
