커뮤니티 활성화를 위한 과정중심의 공공미술 지표개발과 방법론에 관한 연구

Abstract

Local governments have been to introduce public art to activate community. The main element to activate a community is residents’ participating. Governments have been supported public art projects to physical regional community so-called neglected region. This study aimed at to develop the associated indices and a matrix of public art which is suitable to Korea’s real condition based on the process-oriented new genre public art of Suzanne Lacy. As sub-purposes were drawing the roles of artists and the steps of participation, grasping the types of practical use of the participation in creative activities. The methods of this study were contents analysis through literature, articles, and internet searching. The subjects of analysis were supported by maeulmisul projects in 2012. The result of this study, the matrix and the indices were optional that parted such as planning stage, manufacturing and installing stage for the execution of public art projects. The developed indices were developed building communication systems, regulatory objectives, site selection, and community research in the planning stage. For the manufacturing and installing stage participation target selection, grant participation step, outcomes planning, manufacture, installation, process, and education.
