본 연구의 목적은 급격하게 새로운 화두로 떠오르고 있는 NFT 미술시장과 창작물이 투자와 이슈의성격에 치우쳐져 있다는 우려의 이슈를 기반으로, NFT 미술의 현황을 객관적으로 인식하고 쟁점을파악한 후 개선방안과 활용방안까지 제시하는 것이다. 연구 방법은 질적 연구로서 7명의 심층 인터뷰녹음의 텍스트 해석을 통한 귀납적 분석을 하였다. 연구 내용은 NFT 미술 개념을 이론적으로 고찰한후 NFT 미술 현황에 대한 국내 예술인 인식을 분석하여 결과를 도출하는 것이다. 심층 인터뷰를 통해살펴본 결과 추출된 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, NFT 미술의 현실성과 유용성에서의 기술적인 지원 및 교육 확대가 필요하다. 국내 미술작가들을 대상으로 조사한 결과 대부분 NFT의 개념 인지 부족, 과장된 언론 보도를 통한 이슈화를 문제점으로 지적하였다. 이에 대한 개선방안으로서 지방 자치단체 및 정부에서 미술작가들을 대상으로 하는 NFT 기술교육 및 홍보방안이 필요하다. 둘째, NFT 미술작품 창작성에서 저작권 보호와 디지털 미술작품 원본 보존의 가치가 중요하다. 디지털로 변환된NFT 미술작품에서 체감되는 감동에 대한 한계를 극복하기 위한 방안이 필요하다. 셋째, NFT 미술시장에서 특정 작가에게만 관심이 집중됨으로써 일반 작가들의 소외감이 더욱 더 악화될 것이라는 문제점이 도출되었으며 이를 위한 해결방안으로서 NFT 미술 시장의 활성화를 위해서는 창작자인 예술인당사자의 참여와 의견이 반영될 필요성이 제시되었다. 이 연구는 NFT 미술이 이슈가 된 상황에서 현황 진단과 문제점 제시들을 미술시장의 주역인 작가 당사자들의 심층 인터뷰를 통해 파악하였다는 데의미가 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to objectively recognize the current status of NFT art, identify issues, and present improvement and utilization plans based on the NFT art market and the concerns that are rapidly emerging as new topics. The research method was a qualitative study, and an inductive analysis was conducted through text analysis of 7 in-depth interview recordings. The content of the study is to theoretically examine the concept of NFT art and then analyze the perception of domestic artists on the current status of NFT art to derive results. The research results extracted as a result of examining through in-depth interviews are as follows. First, it is necessary to expand technical support and education in the reality and usefulness of NFT art. As a result of a survey of domestic artists, most of them pointed out the lack of conceptual awareness of NFT and the issue through exaggerated media reports as problems. As an improvement plan for this, NFT technical education and promotion measures for artists are needed by local governments and governments. Second, the value of copyright protection and the preservation of the original digital artwork is important in the creativity of NFT artworks. There is a need for a plan to overcome the limitations of emotion felt in digitally converted NFT artworks. Third, the problem was raised that the alienation of ordinary artists would worsen due to the focus of only certain artists in the NFT art market, and the need to reflect the participation and opinions of the creators, artists, was suggested to revitalize the NFT art market. This study is meaningful in that in a situation where NFT art has become an issue, current status diagnosis and problem suggestions were identified through in-depth interviews with artists who are the main players in the art market.
