팝아트 작품을 통한 중등 색채 수업 지도 방안

본 연구는 현대인들이 시각적 이미지에 노출되는 환경에서 적절한 미적 안목을 발전시키는 것이 중요하다는 문제를 해결하고자 하는데 목적을 둔다. 이는 청소년기 시절 색채학 교육을 통해 색채를 제대로 감상하고 활용하는 능력을 키워줄 필요가 있는데 기존의 전통미술만으로는 학생들의 흥미를 끌기 어려운 현실의 상황이 있어 그에 따른 해결방안으로 현대 미술의 변화에 대응하기 위해 대중적인 예술인 팝아트를 활용한 교수학습 지도안을 제안한다. 연구의 방법으로 우선 팝아트의 개념 및 특징과 팝아트 작품에서 보이는 색채에 관하여 연구하고 팝아트의 대표 작가인 앤디 워홀과 로이 리히텐슈타인 작품의 특징을 분석한다. 그리고 중학교 7종 교과서에 나타난 색채학의 내용 및 제시된 팝아트 작품에 관한 색채학을 분석한다. 그리하여 우리 주변에서 볼 수 있는 광고나 포스터에 적용할 수 있는 창의성과 관련 지식을 습득할 수 있는 교수학습 지도안을 제안한다. 제안된 학습 지도안은 학생들이 팝아트를 활용한 색채 수업을 통해 미술에 대한 친근감과 자신감을 얻을 수 있게 하며, 색채 대비와 작품의 내용과 의미를 적절한 미술 용어와 색채 과학 지식을 활용하여 설명할 수 있도록 도와줄 수 있다. 또한, 학생들은 프레젠테이션을 통해 다른 학생들의 작업을 이해하고 상호 피드백을 통해 소통하는 방법을 배울 수 있다. 마지막으로, 완성된 작품을 보여주고 그에 따른 결과를 평가하고 정리하는 프로세스 폴리오를 제출함으로써 학생들의 창의성과 능력을 평가하며, 다음 프로젝트에 대한 발전적인 방향을 제시할 수 있다. 이러한 결과를 통해, 보다 흥미롭고 긍정적으로 색채학을 가르치는 효과와 더불어 학생들의 색채에 대한 올바른 이해와 실생활에서 활용할 수 있는 분별력을 길러주는 역할을 할 것으로 기대된다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to solve the problem that it is important to develop an appropriate aesthetic eye in the environment where modern people are exposed to visual images. It is necessary to develop the ability to properly appreciate and use colors through color science education in adolescence. However, there is a situation in reality where it is difficult to attract students' interest with the existing traditional art alone. As a solution, we propose a teaching and learning guide plan using pop art, a popular art, to respond to changes in contemporary art. As a method of research, first, the concept and characteristics of pop art and the colors seen in pop art works are studied, and the characteristics of the works of Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein, the representative artists of pop art, are analyzed. In addition, the content of color science shown in 7 kinds of middle school textbooks and the color theory of pop art works presented are analyzed. Therefore, we propose a teaching and learning guide plan that can acquire creativity and related knowledge that can be applied to advertisements or posters that can be seen around us. The proposed study plan enables students to gain familiarity and confidence in art through color classes using pop art. In addition, it can help explain the color contrast and the content and meaning of the work using appropriate art terminology and color science knowledge. Through presentations, students can understand the work of other students and learn how to communicate through mutual feedback. Finally, by submitting a process folio that shows the completed work, evaluates and organizes the results, the creativity and ability of the students can be evaluated, and the development direction for the next project can be suggested. Through these results, it is expected to have the effect of teaching color science more interestingly and positively, and to play a role in cultivating students' correct understanding of color and discernment that can be used in real life.
