현재 북한과 통일에 관한 연구에 비해 북한교회 개척과 재건 등에 관련된 연 구와 영미권의 교회 개척 모델과 통합적인 논문은 아직 미개척지로 남아 있는 상황이다. 티모시 켈러와 센터처치 모델은 최근 미국을 넘어 한국에서 집중적 으로 주목받고 있지만, 한국 신학자들의 연구는 아직 미흡한 상태이다. 이러한 상황을 감안하면서, 본 연구자는 첫 번째 장에서 팀 켈러와 센터처치의 주요 배경들과 정의, 핵심 비전과 가치를 먼저 고찰하고자 한다. 그런 다음 본 연구 자는 두 번째 장에서 켈러가 구축한 센터처치 모델의 기초라고 할 수 있는 복 음, 도시, 무브먼트에 관해 분석해 보고자 한다. 본 연구자는 켈러의 센터처치 의 세 가지 축을 복음 중심적 메시지, 복음 중심적 사역, 복음 중심적 무브먼 트로 나누어 집중적으로 살펴보고자 한다. 이러한 이론적 고찰을 토대로 하여 본 연구자는 세 번째 장에서 켈러의 센터처치에 대한 객관적인 평가와 함께 이 론적 분석을 통해 얻은 함의들을 중심으로 통일한국과 북한교회 개척과 재건을 위한 주요 방향성을 제언해 보고자 한다. 따라서 본 연구의 중심 목적은 팀 켈 러와 그의 센터처치 모델의 핵심 개념과 이론적 기초와 전략들을 분석하고 평 가함으로 북한교회 개척과 재건을 위한 함의와 방향성을 제시하는데 있다.
Abstract
In recognizing the lack of comprehensive studies on churches in North Korea and integrated research of church planting for North Koreans, this paper is to illuminate Timothy Keller and his center church model which is being in the limelight. The present writer elucidates significant backgrounds of Tim Keller’s center church model and its definition, core vision and value. Second part analyzes Keller’s three axes (gospel, city, and movement) of the center church model by focusing on gospel-focused message, gospel-rooted ministry, and gospel-centered movement. Based on these theoretical analyses, third part evaluates Keller’s center church model and consider its strengths and weaknesses. This section, furthermore, is to suggest some implications and practical applications for reconstructing churches in North Korea and church planting for North Koreans. The primary purpose of this study, therefore, is to analyze the core concept and theoretical basis of Keller’s center church model and to suggest evaluation, implication and orientation for churches in North Korea and church planting for North Korean.
