최근 들어 한국사회는 많은 외국인의 국내유입으로 인해 다문화사회로 빠르게 진입하고 있다. 하지만 현재 한국사회 구성원들은 다문화에 대한 부정적 인식이 지배적이기 때문에 만약 한국사회가 다문화사회로의 긍정적 변화를 이루고자 한다면 먼저 다문화인식의 개선을 위해 노력할 필요가 있다. 이러한 관점에서 볼 때 다양한 계층의 사람들이 한데 모여 있는 개신교회는 다문화 교육을 통한 다문화인식 개선을 수행하기에 가장 적당한 장소이며, 교육의 주체라 할 수 있는 목회자의 다문화교육 역량은 매우 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 성공적인 다문화교육을 위한 교육 역량은 매우 다양하지만, 그 가운데 특히 주목해야 할 것이 바로 다문화 효능감이다. 본 논문은 이러한 상황에서 목회자 양성단계에 있는 예비목회자를 대상으로 다문화 효능감 실태를 조사하고 전문가 면담을 통해 다문화 효능감 증진방안을 제시한다. 본 논문은 양적 연구와 질적 연구를 혼합한 통합적 연구방법을 활용하여 다양한 통합연구 모형 가운데 Morse 모형을 활용하여 연구를 수행한다. 결과로 나타난 것은 현재 예비목회자의 다문화 효능감은 평균 이하의 수준을 보인다는 것이다. 또한 ‘다문화 교육 이수 여부’, ‘학부 출신’, ‘외국어 능력’, ‘연령’, ‘해외 체류기간’과 같은 변인에 따라 차이를 보인다. 본 논문은 예비목회자의 다문화 효능감 증진방안으로 ‘다문화 관련 교육과정의 개설’, ‘다문화 관련 교육경험 제공’, ‘긍정적 네트워킹을 통한 소명의식 함양’, ‘외적 환경 변화’을 제시한다. 개신교 예비목회자의 다문화 효능감 증진을 위한 실천적 방법으로 교수법과 교육프로그램의 마련, 그리고 다문화와 관련된 다양한 경험 제공이 필요함을 제안한다. 특히 예비목회자 교육 기관인 신학대학원 내에 다문화관련 네트워킹의 형성을 권장하고 법제화를 통해 다문화교육과 다문화에 대한 제도적노출의 당위성을 제시한다.
Abstract
In recent years, Korean society has rapidly entered a multicultural society due to the influx of foreigners. However, current Korean society has a negative perception of multiculturalism. Therefore, if Korean society is to achieve a positive change in a multicultural society, it is necessary to strive to improve multicultural perception. Protestant churches with diverse groups of people are the most suitable place to carry out multicultural perception improvement through multicultural education. In addition, the capacity of multicultural education of the pastor, which is the subject of education, is very important. The educational capacity for successful multicultural education is very diverse, but the most noteworthy of these is multicultural efficacy. The purpose of this study is to investigate the actual condition of multicultural efficacy and to suggest ways to improve multicultural efficacy through interview with experts. In order to accomplish the purpose of this research, an integrated research method combining quantitative research and qualitative research was used. In addition, Morse model was used among various integrated research models. As a result, the prospective pastor 's multicultural efficacy was below average. Also, The multicultural efficacy was different according to variables such as ‘whether to take multicultural education’, ‘undergraduate’, ‘foreign language ability’, ‘age’, ‘stay abroad’. In addition, experts suggested ‘opening up curriculum related to multiculturalism’, ‘providing experience in education related to multiculturalism’, ‘cultivating a sense of calling through positive networking’, and ‘external environment change’ as measures for enhancing the multicultural efficacy of prospective pastors. From this point of view, it is urgent to prepare related teaching methods and educational programs to enhance the multicultural efficacy of prospective pastors, and it is necessary to help them build various experiences and know-how related to multiculturalism. In addition, it is necessary to encourage the formation of networking related to multiculturalism within the theological graduate school and to establish the justification for multicultural education through legislation.
