음악교육에 대한 인식, 자기효능감의 원천, 직업적 성향에 따른 예비유아교사의 음악교수효능감에 관한 연구

초록

본 연구의 목적은 음악 또는 음악교육을 전공하지 않은 예비유아교사들의 음악교육에 대한 인식, 자기효능감의 원천, 직업적 성향에 따른 음악교수효능감의 상관관계를 연구하기 위함이다. 편의모집 방식으로 서울 소재 다섯 곳의 대학교를 선정하였고 연구기간 재학 중이었던 예비유아교사 총 91명이 연구에 참여하였다. 선행연구들에서 개발된 검사 문항들을 본 연구의 목적에 맞게 수정하여 설문지를 개발하였다. 일원분산분석과 Pearson의 상관관계 분석을 통하여 얻어진 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 음악교육에 대한 중요성, 교육목적, 교육활동, 음악적 지식은 학년에 따라 유의미한 인식의 차이가 있음이 밝혀졌다. 또한 음악교육에 대한 중요성, 음악적 지식이 음악교수효능감에 유의미한 영향을 미치며, 네 가지 자기효능감의 원천 중에서 성공에 대한 경험이 예비유아교사의 음악교수효능감에 가장 큰 영향력을 끼치는 것으로 나타났다. 직업적 성향과 관련해서는 비판적 사고와 문제해결력이 참여자들의 음악교수효능감과 유의미한 상관관계가 있었다. 이러한 연구 결과는 유아교사 양성 프로그램에서 음악 또는 음악교육을 전공하지 않은 예비유아교사들의 특성을 반영하여 보다 체계적이고 확장된 음악연수 및 음악교육 프로그램을 적용시킬 수 있도록 교과과정에서의 뒷받침이 필요하며 예비유아교사의 음악적 전문성 신장을 위한 다각적인 지원을 제언하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explore pre-service preschool teachers’ self-efficacy in music according to perception of music education, sources of self-efficacy, and professional disposition. Using a convenience sampling, five universities in Seoul were selected. 91 pre-service preschool teachers participated in this study. Survey questions were developed based on studies of Askew et al.(1997), Usher, Pajares(2009), and Fisher et al.(2021). From one-way ANOVA and Pearson’s correlation coefficient, findings revealed that self-efficacy scores between perception of music education were significantly different from the participants’ school year. Of the four sources of self-efficacy, mastery experiences proved to have the highest correlation with self-efficacy in music. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills of the professional disposition significantly influenced the participants’ teacher self-efficacy in music. This study suggested that preschool teacher preparation programs should be designed to afford pre-service teachers various opportunities to gain pedagogical experiences in music that have the potential to raise efficacious pedagogy beliefs in music.
