무로마치시대 『文明本節用集』에 나타난 連濁語의 혼동 연구

본고에서는 자료의 방대성으로 인해 連濁연구 자료로 다루어지지 않았던 『文明本節用集』을 중심으로 連濁 의 혼동(ゆれ)상황을 분석하였다. 동시에 크리스천문헌 자료인 『日葡辞書』와도 비교하여 당시 유학의 세계와일반 세계에서의 連濁의 차이와 連濁의 혼동(ゆれ) 여부에 관해서도 검토하였다. 분석 결과, 淸濁二形이 등록된 漢語를 보면 압도적으로 ザ行音이 많으며, 대부분 朱筆주기 漢音임을 알 수 있다. 또한, 『文明本節用集』은漢音의 적극적인 표시와 독서음 유지를 위해 連濁되지 않는 漢音 사례가 많은 가운데, 동일한 漢語에 連濁形, 非連濁形이 다수 존재하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 한편 『日葡辞書』에는 일상적으로 사용되고 있는 連濁形이다수 등록되어 있는데, 淸濁二形의 등록도 소수 존재한다. 이 같은 淸濁二形의 병존 현상은, 당시 편자의 판단으로 어느 한 쪽을 정하지 않으면서 淸濁二形의 가치적인 차이를 인정하고 있었음을 시사한다. 요컨대 무로마치시대 유학의 세계와 일반세계에서 자료에 따라 連濁이 혼동되고 있는 漢語가 많음을 알 수있으며, 각각의 한자의 淸濁이 일정하지 않는 것과 궤를 같이하고 있음을 추론해볼 수 있다.
Abstract
This paper analyzes the confusion of Rendaku, focusing on Rendaku research data of “Bunmeibonsetsuyousyu”. In comparison with “Nippozisyo” literature, this paper also examines the difference between Rendaku in the world of studying abroad and the general world at the time and the confusion of Rendaku. The result of analysis shows that when among the Chinese characters in which Rendakunikei is registered, there are overwhelmingly many ゙“Bunmeibonsetsuyousyu”. And there are many Rendakukei, and Hirendakukei in the same Chinese characters. On the other hand, in “Nippozisyo”a number of Rendakukei, which are commonly used, are registered, and there are also a few registrations of Seidakuryoukei. It can be considered that there are many Chinese characters in which Rendaku is confused according to data in the world of studying abroad and the general world during the Muromachi period.
