In this paper, I investigated the usages and errors of Korean final endings-endings for sentence closing- in the Korean learners’ corpus. The Korean learners began using the appropriate endings for written language in high-beginner level and wrote their composition with almost literary style ending ‘-다/는다’ in intermediate level. And they spoke with informal style endings for spoken language. But Chinese and English Korean learners spoke in a more informal style using an informal style endings than Japanese learners. The error rate of the endings was higher in the written language than spoken language. The learners made many morphological rule errors in written language, which continued to appear until intermediate level. On the other hand, in spoken language, they made many errors in the honor endings. And they have made a lot of errors in their writing with an inappropriate ending for written style to intermediate level.
