통영시 섬지역 보건진료원의 일차보건의료 활동 분석 - 섬과 육지 간의 차이 -

The purpose of this study is to analyze primary health care activities and characteristics of community health practitioners(CHPs) in Tongyeong(island) city. Data on operational report and monthly medical activities of CHPs was collected through e-mail from January to June, 2013. The difference in health care between island and non island area was analyzed by using chi-square test and t-test. The number of working activities of health promotion was elderly health 688.4, oral health 130.5, physical activities 62.1, rehabilitation 49.1 and mental health 35.2 etc. Services for cerebro-vascural disease were BP check for hypertension 883.1, urine test for DM 183.5, cholesterol check for hyperlipidemia 9.7 and BMI check for obesity 4.9. Newly services for dementia were very low. The number of visit patients per month was 176.0 pts while medical fee per month was 1,125,788won for medical insurance and 99,174won for medical aids. There was difference between island CHPs and non-island CHPs(p<0.5) in services for drinking and number of visit patients per month. These results suggest that CHPs should have functions and dimentia preventive services for elderly should cover elderly health service and preventive services for cerebro-vascural disease.
