이 연구의 목적은 매체 언어 쓰기 교수－학습의 과정을 모색하고, 메시지 생산 과정에서 고려해야 할 핵심 개념을 중심으로 매체 언어 쓰기 교수－학습이 어떠한 방향으로 이루어져야 하는지를 구체적으로 논의하는 데 있다. 매체 언어 쓰기 교수－학습 과정을 ‘구상－생성－조직－재현’의 4단계로 설정하였다. 매체 언어 쓰기는 일반적인 쓰기와는 달리 영상 체계의 언어의 구조와 특질을 파악해야 하고, 인지적, 사회적 측면뿐만 아니라 기술적 측면까지를 고려하여야 하는 매우 복잡한 과정이다. 창의적인 언어로 소통할 메시지를 효과적으로 만들어내는 일은 매체 언어 쓰기 교육에서 매우 중요한 문제이다. 이 목표를 달성하기 위해 이 연구에서는 매체를 통한 재현 방법, 매체 언어 구조에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 한 메시지 생산, 독자의 참여와 반응, 신념과 가치의 전달, 목적과 의도의 효과적인 전달과 같은 핵심 개념을 설정하여 언어적, 사회적, 기술적으로 매체 언어 쓰기 교육의 방향을 제시하였다. 텍스트의 생산자는 사회적 상호작용을 통해 습득한 전략을 활용하여 효율적으로 의미를 구성해 나가며, 주어진 상황과 환경에 따라 표현의 다양화를 도모한다. 이러한 맥락에서 매체 언어 쓰기는 인간의 커뮤니케이션 활동의 범위를 확장하고, 인지 경험의 공유와 기록, 문화적 전수 측면에서 언어적, 사회적, 문화적으로 큰 의미를 지닌다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to research the production process of media and to discuss the courses of writing in media education. The discusses are focused on the core concepts to be considered in manufacturing media message. This study suggests the writing process ‘conception－formation－organization －representation’. The manufacturing media is very complicated progress to understand the structures and features of visual language system and to consider even cognitive, social and technical sides of media. Making messages to communicate efficiently using a creative language is very important problem and aim in media education. To achieve this aim this study suggests these courses：What are you writing and how to representate? Do you understand the media language structures(format, technology and factors) to need to make message? Have you determined the target audience and is your message engaging the audience? Do you frame values and points of views in the contents clearly? What purposes and intentions do you have? The producer has composed the meanings efficiently using obtained strategies through social interaction and expressed variously according to situation and environment. In this context ‘writing media’ extends the area of haman's communication and includes linguistic, social and cultural values in the way of the sharing and recoding for cognitive experience and the inheriting sociocultural backgrounds.
