백워드 설계에 기반한 국어과 자료⋅정보 활용 역량 단원 실행 연구 - 다문화교육과 연계한 ‘발표하기’를 중심으로 -

Abstract

This study is action research on the backward design-based Korean language education data/information utilization competency, around the presentation related with multicultural education. It, therefore, developed the research ground, by considering the stage of backward-design and the unit design approach and examining the contents of the capability-based presentation unit design. This study was designed by developing the ADDIE model-based study procedure, establishing the action model, selecting the research tool, organizing the research group and planning to test the effectiveness of the utilization of quantitative analysis (non-parametric test) and qualitative analysis (observation and portfolio analysis). The results of a post-measurement using the Mann-Whitney U test showed that there is a significant difference in all factors except for ‘diversity’ between the experimental group and the control group. Those of a post- and a pre-measurement using the Willcoxon signed rank test showed that significant changes of ‘knowledge information processing’ and ‘knowledge information utilization’ were found in the experimental group. From the results of the observation and portfolio analysis using rubrics, it was found that the practical speaking task of ‘introduction and presentation of multiculture’ was performed as a students-centered activity, and that students’ capability to use the Korean language education data/information, presentation ability and perceptions on/attitudes toward the multiculture were significantly changed. This study is expected to contribute to the practice of capability-based Korean language education and the activation of research on the subject competence.
