초록

현대 중국 여성에 대한 성찰과 시대적 의미를 구현하는 여성철학의 가능성을 분석하였다. 현대 중국의 여성철학의 존재 가능성과 그 본질에 대한 본체론적 고찰을 시도한다. 그것의 이해를 위해 시대적, 동, 서양 비교 사상적 배경을 살펴 본 것이다. 중국의 역사를 보면 여성에 대한 인식과 존재에 대한 인식의 기초는 현대 문화운동으로 거슬러 올라간다. 계몽과 자각, 생활과 정치 권리의 요구가 동시에 이루어졌다. 물론 총 노선으로 군림했던 유가 사상에 대한 철저한 타기가 여성운동의 한 방편으로 사상적 원천을 확보하기 위해 감행되었다. 중국 적화 후에 이데올로기의 고정화와 이에 따른 여성 지위의 평등성 고취, 일방화에 이어 개혁, 개방 이후 실존주의적 경향이 두드러지게 나타났다. 마르크시즘에서 구태여 연원을 찾으려는 시대적 정치적 의미가 짙게 가미된 절충의 결과였다. 합법성은 중국철학과 사상, 학문 전반에 불어 닥친 제2의 문화혁명과 같은 자각적 지식운동이었다. 중국 현대의 현실 세계의 의미를 이론으로 허위적 세계를 구축할 수 있는 능력이 요구된다. 또한 전통 중국의 여성에 대한 관념을 청산하는 것이 필요하다. 즉, 중국적 여성주의의 본질을 추구하고 적절한 대비와 전통 여성주의 사고와의 단절, 계승이 요구되는 것이다. 현대성은 역시 여성철학이 갖추어야 하는 세계성적인 수준과 관련있는 과제이다. 서양 여성운동과 관념의 기원과 그 과정에 대한 해석적 성찰이 우선 요구되었다. 그 다음 중국 현실에서의 "현대성" 획득의 문제에 직면하게 된다. 여성운동과 여성철학의 성립과 배경에는 반드시 이데올로기의 청산적 요소가 개입되어야 한다. 다원주의와 여성이 세계적이고 보편적인 가치와 자유롭고 독립적인 소통이 가능한 경우에 비로소 현대성을 획득하게 되는 것이다. 현재 중국 여성철학의 상황과 그 내용은 본체론적 특징을 띠고 있다. 즉, 그 본질을 규명하기를 시도하는 작업과 다름 아니다. 철학과 더불어 문학 영역에서 공전의 활약을 보인다. 주변적 인물로서 줄곧 역사의 아웃사이더로서 위치했던 여성의 모습이 재확인되기도 한다. 1980년대 이후 두드러진 특징은 소외와 성적인 무의미, 상품성으로서의 관념, 남성과 복장 등 주변적인 여성을 표현해 주는 의미들에 대한 묘사이다. 상품주의의 만연으로 여성은 더욱 더 좌절을 느끼고 잡다한 일상사에 매몰되어 간다. 부권 중심의 중국 사회에서 공공영역의 획득과 점차 두드러지는 여성의 진정한 의미의 자각이 중국 여성철학의 미래를 가늠한다.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to explain and interpret 'The Woman' in contemporary China. The approach would be the philosophical categories-epistemology, ontology and value theory. The concrete study method would have the two dimensions-the comparison methods with the Western philosophies and Chinese inner meanings methods with the ancient Chinese traditional thought and philosophical way. I would focus the meanings of Woman in Chinese historical and cultural contexts. With the Woman theme, we would think philosophically the concepts of modernization, rationalization and characterization. The contexts of woman philosophy in China were established through the characterized value world and recognized cognitive system of Chinese history, ideology and life style. The present condition of woman philosophy in contemporary China is in flux situation. The multiple value system, independent society would be the future woman philosophy tendencies with the value compromise between Chinese and Western thought.
