본 연구는 협력적 보드게임이 지닌 교육적 가능성을 검토함으로써 2022 개정 교육과정의 핵심 역량인 협력적 소통 역량을 초등도덕과 수업에서 효과적으로 함양할 수 있는 방안을 모색하였다. 이를 위해 협력적 소통 역량의 개념과 핵심 요소를 분석하고 초등도덕과 수업 적용 가능성을 탐색하였다. 특히 게임플레이 감독, 그리핑, 형식적 제약 등 적용상의 한계를 살피고, 이에 대한 보완으로 팀빌딩 활동, 규칙 조정, 성찰 중심 수업 등을 제언하였다. 나아가 프로젝트 수업안을 제언함으로써 협력적 보드게임이 초등도덕과 수업에서 협력적 소통 역량을 길러줄 수 있는 좋은 소재가 될 수 있음을 보이려 한다.
Abstract
This study is an attempt to explore effective strategies for fostering cooperative communication competency, one of the core competencies emphasized in the 2022 Revised National Curriculum, within elementary moral education by examining the educational potential of cooperative board games. To this end, the study analyzes the concept and key components of cooperative communication competency and investigates its applicability to moral education classes. Particular attention is given to potential challenges such as gameplay domination, griefing, and structural limitations, along with proposed responses including team-building activities, rule modifications, and reflection-based instruction. By presenting a project-based lesson plan, this study aims to demonstrate that cooperative board games can serve as an effective medium for developing cooperative communication competency in elementary moral education.
