Since Turkey has intervened militarily in Cyprus in 1974, Cyprus was divided into the north Cyprus and the south Cyprus. The division of Cyprus has been continued for more than 40 years. There are two communities in Cyprus. Greece and Turkey are behind Cyprus. The international community is paying attention to the Cypriot problem in the Mediterranean sea as s long-run conflict case. The purpose of this study is to analyze the dynamics and interaction of variables generating the conflict, and the process of explosion, expansion and freezing of conflict. This study identified the factors that create the conflict through historical background. And then this paper analyzed the process which has been frozen for 40 years Furthermore, this study examined and predicted the actor`s issues surrounding Cyprus. Lastly, this research analyzed the implications of Cyprus problem in relation to the unification of Korea
