「진달래꽃」의 다중성에 관한 연구

Abstract

This Writer has analyzed the rhythm and substance that immanent in Poet Kim So-Wol's Azalea Flower at diverse angles. As the result, it was confirmed that the existing explanations containing a considerable problem which bestow the meanings to this poetic work likely as ‘Affectional Grief of Parting’, ‘Self-Sacrifice’, ‘Will of Patience’. So to speak, it has been exposed as an excess-interpretation that excessively idealized or embellished it on merely male-oriented view-point. In fact, there arises a question that - no matter how harsh she is, at the stage where her beloved man is actually leaving, how she could assure she never shed tears even if she faces with death. If so, ‘because she loves him so truly, and she is considering if the leaving sweetheart probably distresses at that time, she will never shed tears even if she situates to death ― even such an extreme anguish and sorrow ― at her such vowing feature to endure out it, there is the Beauty which exactly this Woman and this Poem are maintaining; though the said interpretation goes along in such way of system, it is conjecturable that how such interpretation gives an absurd feeling. In a word, with reference to this poetic work it should not be applied excessively idealistic measuring stick of notion or not approach there standing on the male-centered standpoint only, just likely as it has ever mainly approached until now, but from now on, it should outgrow from the existing stiff viewpoint, the effort attempting for a new interpretation to the direction considering the sense of real also should be stated. In such critical mind, this Writer has examined this poetic work in the viewpoint of Multiplicity. And, as the result, it was confirmed that various interpretations to this poetic work are possible in accordance with each points of view.
