본 연구는 농협사업이 농업 및 농가소득에 미치는 영향을 분석함으로써 향후 농협사업이 농업 및 농가소득증대에 기여하는 방안을 모색해 보고자 하였다. 이에 2000년 농축인삼협통합 이후인 2001년부터 2018년까지의 자료와 함께 통계청의 농업인소득 자료를 이용하여 생산함수를 중심으로 GLS 분석 및 LASSO 분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과를 종합하여 보면 생산함수 중심 GLS 분석과 LASSO 분석에서 판매사업, 마트사업, 기타경제사업 그리고 교육지원 사업은 농업 및 농가소득에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 반면에 구매사업과 가공사업은 유의성이 없는 것으로 나타났다. 추후 연구에는 각 지역 및 품목 농협별 자료의 확보를 전제로 많은 통제변수를 사용한 패널분석에 의한 원인을 좀 더 세밀한 분석을 수행하는 것이 과제로 남아있다고 하겠다.
Abstract
This study analyzes the impact of Nonghyup business on agriculture and farm household income growth. Nonghyup business was trying to find ways to contribute to the increase of farm income. GLS and LASSO were performed for analysis. Data was used from 2001 to 2008. The results of the analysis are as follows: first, capital intensity has a positive effect on agriculture and farm household income; second, in the Nonghyup economic business, marketing, mart and other business has a positive effect on agriculture and farm household income; third, the Nonghyup education and guidance business support project has a positive effect on farm income. In summary, marketing, education and guidance business have a positive impact on farm income. However, in the case of the credit and purchasing business, the statistical significance was not confirmed.
