초록
The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of perceptual-skill training on Badachagi anticipation in Taekwondo Kyorugi. For this study, 20 university students who were Taekwondo novices were selected, and they were evenly assigned to a perceptual-skill training group or a control group (video training). The experiment consisted of a pretest, training intervention, and a posttest. All subjects were required to watch videos of the beginning stages of Taekwondo kicks and to then anticipate the direction and type of kick that would follow. Training intervention was conducted over seven days. Perceptual training was performed using a video graphic technique and a visual-attention orienting technique, and the control group underwent normal video training that involved no particular technique. The results of this study were as follows: First, for the pretest and posttest, compared to the control group, the perceptual-training group showed significant improvements in kick-type-anticipation. Second, in terms of kick-direction anticipation, the perceptual-training group and control group both showed significant improvements, but the perceptual-training group showed a higher increase in accuracy than the control group.
