이 연구의 목적은 태권도 숙련성에 따라 시각탐색패턴과 반응동작의 차이를 규명하는데 있다. 피험자는 숙련성에 따라 숙련자 5명, 중간숙련자 5명, 초보자 5명으로 구성하였고, 4종류의 발차기 영상을 5회씩 무작위로 피험자에게 제시하였다. 시각탐색패턴 분석은 안구 움직임 추적 장치(NAC사의 EMR-9)를 사용하여 준비구간과 차기구간으로 나누어 분석하였으며, 반응동작은 비디오 분석을 사용하여 반응동작시간과 반응동작유형을 분석하였다. 산출된 자료는 숙련성에 따라 일원분산분석을 실시하였으며, 사후검정으로 LSD를 실시하였다. 이상의 연구방법을 기초로 하여 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 준비구간에서 숙련자집단은 중간숙련자집단과 초보자집단에 비해 낮은 시선고정빈도와 긴 시선고정시간 그리고 적은 시선이동수를 나타내었으며, 시선고정위치는 숙련자집단이 흉부에 중간숙련자집단과 초보자집단은 대퇴에 시선을 고정하는 시간이 길었다. 시선의 이동경로를 파악하기 위한 시선이동패턴 결과 숙련자집단은 흉부에서 머리나 복부로 또는 머리나 복부에서 흉부로 이동하는 패턴을 많이 나타냈으며, 중간숙련자집단과 초보자집단은 대퇴에서 복부, 복부에서 대퇴로 이동하는 패턴을 많이 나타냈다. 둘째, 차기구간에서 시선고정빈도와 시선고정시간은 숙련자집단과 중간숙련자집단 그리고 초보자집단간의 차이가 없었지만, 시선이동수는 숙련자집단이 중간숙련자집단과 초보자집단에 비해 적었다. 또한 시선고정위치는 숙련자집단이 흉부에 중간숙련자집단은 복부에 초보자집단은 대퇴에 서선을 고정하는 시간이 길었다. 그리고 시선이동패턴 결과 숙련자집단은 흉부에 고정하는 패턴을 많이 나타냈으며, 중간숙련자집단은 복부에 고정하는 패턴과 대퇴에서 복부로 이동하는 패턴이 많이 나타났다. 그리고 초보자집단은 복부와 대퇴에 고정하는 패턴이 많이 나타났다. 셋째, 반응동작에서 반응동작시간은 숙련자집단이 중간숙련자집단과 초보자집단보다 빨랐고, 반응동작유형은 숙련자집단이 공격을 많이 하였으며, 중간숙련자집단과 초보자집단은 피하는 유형을 많이 하였다. 또한 숙련자집단은 중간숙련자집단과 초보자집단에 비해 상대적으로 다양하고 많은 공격을 보여주었다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the visual search patterns and reaction movement in Taekwondo according to expertise. In this study, subjects who consist of 5 experts, 5 intermediates, and 5 novices in Taekwondo were selected to participate in this experiment. The 4 different kick images were given to subjects five times respectively in random. Visual search patterns in preparation phase and kicking phase were analyzed with utilizing eye movement tracking system (EMR-9 of NAC). In addition, reaction movement including reaction movement time and reaction movement category was analyzed through video camera. In statistic method, One-way ANOVA and post hoc test (LSD) were adopted. The results of this study were as follows: First, in the preparation phase, experts illustrated the lower eye fixation frequency, longer eye fixation time, and lower number of eye movement compared to intermediates and novices. In the location of eye fixation, experts showed longer fixation time on chest, and intermediates and novices showed longer fixation time on thigh. Also, experts showed eye movement searching patterns from chest to head or abdominal, and intermediates and novices showed patterns from thigh to abdominal and abdominal to thigh. Second, in the kicking phase, there was no significant difference in eye fixation frequency and eye fixation time among selected groups, but the number of eye movement in experts was smaller than intermediates and novices. In the location of eye fixation, experts illustrated longer fixation time on chest. However, intermediates showed longer fixation time on abdominal and novices showed longer fixation time on thigh. Moreover, in eye movement pattern, experts showed patterns usually fixed their eye on chest, intermediates tended to fix their eye on abdominal and to move their eye from thigh to abdominal, and novices usually fixed their eye on abdominal and thigh. Finally, in reaction movement, reaction movement time of experts was faster than those of intermediates and novices. In reaction movement category, experts usually showed attacking patterns, and intermediates and novices usually showed avoiding skill among categories. In addition, experts showed diverse and frequent attacking skills compared to intermediates and novices.
