태권도 위력격파 심판 숙련성에 따른 시각탐색과 판단 정확성 차이

본 연구는 태권도 위력격파 심판 숙련성에 따른 시각탐색과 판단의 정확성 차이를 밝히는 데 목적이 있다. 본 연구에 참여한 연구대상자는 5년 이상의 한마당 2급 숙련 심판과 심판 경험이 없는 3급 초보 심판이 연구에 참여하였다. 아이트래커를 착용하여 주먹과 손날, 발 위력격파의 영상을 보고 벌칙 상황을 판정하였으며, 숙련성에 따른 판정의 정확성, 시각탐색(시선고정빈도, 시선고정시간비율, 시선고정시간)전략과 시각초점영역, 지각된 시각초점영역을 측정하고 숙련성에 따른 비교분석을 위해 맨 휘트니 유 검정을 실시하였다. 첫째, 숙련 심판은 초보 심판에 비해 판정 정확성이 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 숙련 심판은 초보 심판에 비해 높은 시선고정빈도수와 시선고정시간비율, 시선고정시간을 보이는 시각탐색을 나타냈다. 셋째, 숙련성에 따른 시각초점영역과 실제 지각된 시각초점영역은 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 숙련된 태권도 위력격파 심판일수록 더 객관적이고 정확한 판정과 효과적인 대회진행을 위해 짧은 시선 행동으로 효율적인 시각탐색 행동전략을 보였으며, 위력격파 시 정확하고 빠른 의사결정을 위해 숙련 심판은 격파 부위에 초보 심판은 격파물에 주시하는 경향을 보였다. 이는 폐쇄운동기술인 위력격파의 특성과 경기규칙에 관련이 있을 것으로 판단된다. 이러한 결과를 태권도 위력격파 심판에 적용한다면 심판의 교육 프로그램과 전문성 강화를 위한 기초자료가 될 것으로 기대된다.
Abstract
This study aimed to determine the difference in the accuracy of visual search and judgment of Taekwondo power breaking referees based on their expertise. Participants in this study included Hanmadang Class 2 expert referees with over 5 years of experience and inexperienced Class 3 novice referees. Participants determined penalties watching fist, knife hand, and kick breaking videos, while wearing eye trackers. Their judgment accuracy based on expertise, visual search (fixation frequency, fixation time ratio, fixation duration) strategies, visual focus area, and perceived visual focus area were measured, and Mann-Whitney U test was performed for comparative analysis based on expertise. First, expert referees showed higher judgment accuracy than novice referees. Second, expert referees showed higher fixation frequency, fixation time ratio, and fixation duration than novice referees. Third, visual focus area based on expertise and perceived visual focus area did not show statistically significant difference. Expert Taekwondo power breaking referees showed more efficient visual search strategies through shorter visual action for more objective and accurate judgment and contest, and tended to focus on the breaking area for accurate and prompt decisions while novice referees focused on the breaking target. This may be related to the characteristics and rules of power breaking, which is a closed motor skill. Result of study may provide basic data in reinforcing referee education program and expertise of Taekwondo power breaking judgment.
