This study was a descriptive research study, and data were collected from 108 nursing students at a college from April 27 to June 10, 2024. The results of the study showed that the degree of study crafting according to the general characteristics of nursing students showed statistically significant differences according to grade, major satisfaction, and college life satisfaction. Study crafting showed a positive correlation with intrinsic and extrinsic motivation (r=.54, p<.001) and goal orientation (r=.47, p<.001). The factors influencing the study crafting of nursing students were intrinsic and extrinsic motivation (β=.32, p=.001), College life satisfaction (β=32, p<001), and goal orientation (β=.21, p=.029), in that order, and these variables explained 40.0% of the subjects' study crafting. Based on this study, in order to improve the academic crafting of nursing students, it is important to increase the level of motivation for their studies, and it is necessary to develop and apply management plans that can increase satisfaction with college life through human resource exchange within the college and pursue goal orientation according to learner characteristics.
