러시아와 중국은 2020년대 들어서 양국간 천연가스 협력의 결과물을 만들어내고 있다. 러시아는 야말에서 생산된 LNG를 중국에 공급하고 있으며, 시베리아의 힘을 통해서 2020년부터 파이프라인을 통해 천연가스를 공급하고 있다. 러시아의 중국 천연가스 공급은 유럽 의존적인 천연가스 수출 구조를 극복하는데 도움이 될 것이며, 특정 경로에 의존하던 러시아 천연가스 수출 구조를 개선시킬 수 있다. 연구 결과 러시아의 중국 천연가스 수출 확대는 러시아의 경로별 의존도를 완화시키고, 수입국보다 경로상 낮은 의존도를 보이는데 도움을 주었다. 중국의 경우 러시아를 통해 천연가스를 도입하게 될 경우 낮은 가격에 천연가스를 공급받을 수 있다는 경제적 이득을 취할 수 있으며, 유일한 PNG 공급자인 중앙아시아의 의존도를 완화함과 동시에 해당지역의 공급 및 생산 리스크를 회피하는데 도움이 된다고 보았다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyse the changes of diversification and relative dependence on certain natural gas exporting route, in terms of Russia and natural gas importing route, in terms of China. The result of this study proves that cooperation between Russia and China can reduce Russia’s dependence on gas exporting route to Europe and allow to acquire relatively high bargaining power on its buyers. However, the study shows that it is China that can enjoy more economic benefits.
