자본주의는 보편적인 화폐경제와 대도시라는 삶의 공간을 만들었다. 흥미로운 것은 동시에 인간은 고독한 내면을 갖춘 개인으로 탄생했다는 점이다. 자유롭게(?) 자신을 노동을 팔 수 있고 동시에 자유롭게(?) 소비를할 수 있는 개인이 탄생하지 않았다면, 자본주의는 무한히 확장하려는 자신의 맹목적인 충동을 충족시키기 어려웠을 것이다. 그러나 자본주의가 예상하지 못한 일이 발생한다. 그것은 자유롭도록 저주받은 개인들은 자신의 고독을 치유하기 위해서 타자를 갈망하기 시작했다는 점이다. 진정한 ‘사랑’의 논리가 시작된 것이다. 사랑은 나와 타자의 자유를 보장하면서 동시에 고독을 치유하려는 노력이다. 바로 여기에 자본주의에 반하는 새로운삶의 형식이 싹트는 계기가 함축되어 있다. 그러나 사랑의 혁명적 힘은 아직도 제대로 발현되지 않고 있다. 가족이란 ‘상상적 공동체’에 의해 포획되고 있기 때문이다. 그러나 사랑의 논리와 가족의 논리는 상이할 뿐만 아니라 동시에 대립적이기까지 하다. 따라서 가족으로의 회귀는 사랑의 논리를지키지 못한 우리의 무능력에서 기인하는 것에 지나지 않는다.
Abstract
Capitalism has created the universal monetary economy and the metropolis. At the same time, man has get born as a free individual with the solitary inner space. In fact, Capitalism could not survive without free individuals. For freedom only made man a free laborer and free consumer. However the unexpected situation happened. The freedom created by capitalism made most individuals feeling solitariness and craving for the other in order to cure their solitariness. From this the logic of love appeared. Love is a human endeavor to preserve own freedom and the freedom of the other as well as to cure own solitariness. Unfortunately the revolutionary power of love was not manifested perfectly. For such the imaginary community as the family has covered up the power of love. It is evident that the logic of love and the logic of family do not coincide with each other. Therefore the return to a family proceed from our impotence to adhere to the revolutinary power of love.
