본 연구에서는 라틴 아메리카 스페인어의 데이터를 중심으로 담화 표지자로서 인접 선행성을 표현하는 부사 recién이 보여주는 형태론적 특성과 통사구조에서 보 여주는 분포적 특성을 살펴보고, 이와 더불어 그 의미적 특수성을 살펴보고자 한다. 부사 recién은 단문의 경우에는 술어의 사건이 기준시에 대해 인접 선행성을 갖는 것으로 표시하지만, 복문의 경우에는 부사절을 수식하면서 이 부사절의 동사가 묘 사하는 사건이 기준시에 인접 선행성을 표시하는 현상에 주목하여, 본 연구에서는 recién이 표시하는 인접 선행성은 회고국면 우설법 ‘acabar de + inf.’의 상적 특성과 밀접한 관련이 있음을 주장하고자 한다.
Abstract
In this paper, we mainly draw on data from immediate anteriority marking in Latin American Spanish to analyze the adverb recién as a discourse marker. We present morphological properties of recién and its distribution in syntactic structures on the one hand, and its semantic particularities on the other. We will show that in simple sentences the adverb recién indicates that the predicate’s event is immediately anterior to the moment of reference, but in case of complex sentences, this adverb modifies the temporal subordinate clause, in which the event described by the embedded verb has the immediate anteriority to the moment of reference. We will claim that the immediate anteriority that recién marks is closely related to the aspectuality of the periphrasis of retrospective phase ‘acabar de + inf’.
