본 연구는 학생들이 인식하는 교사의 수업 행동에 대한 평가를 분석할 뿐만 아니라, 교사가 인식하는 교사의 수업 행동과 학생이 인식하는 교사의 수업 행동이 어떻게 다른지 알아보기 위해서 교사의 수업행동을 측정하는 도구를 개발하고 교사와 학생이 인식하는 교사의 수업 행동에 대한 평가 결과의 차이를 분석하는데 그 연구의 목적이 있었다. 교사의 수업행동 분석 측정도구를 개발하기 위해서 D광역시에 근무하고 있는 초등학교 교사 198명과 초등학생 194명을 대상으로 하였다. 본 연구의 결론을 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교사는 학생들에게 학습내용의 설명을 분명하고 명료하게 하고 수업을 도식화하여 구조적으로 전개하는 것은 물론, 반드시 학습정리 및 평가 단계를 수행해야 한다. 둘째, 교사는 학생들에게 구체적인 동기유발 전략을 수업의 도입 단계에서만 하는 것이 아니라, 전개, 정리 등 전 단계에서 실행해야 한다. 셋째, 수업 시간 중 학생을 관리하는 방법이나 절차 등이 제시된 매뉴얼을 개발함으로써 학생과 교사 간에 합의된 학생 관리를 실천할 수 있다.
Abstract
This study set out to develop a measuring tool for the teachers' teaching behaviors to analyze the students' evaluations of them and to examine differences in the teachers' teaching behaviors perceived by the teachers themselves and those by the students. It also aimed at analyzing the evaluation results of the teachers' teaching behaviors perceived by the teachers themselves and the students. Surveyed in the study to develop a tool to analyze and measure the teachers' teaching behaviors were 198 teachers and 194 students in D Metropolitan City. The presentation of the conclusions of this study are as follows. First, the teacher explains to the students about learning and teaching to illustrate clear and structural development by diagraming the instruction, as well as taking steps to wrap-up and evaluate. Second, students are motivated to make a concrete strategy, not only in the beginning of class, but by developing, organizing, and executing all phases. Third, how to manage students during class time and the procedures manual developed and presented by teachers and students to practice agreed upon by student management. The study has some limitations, as well: first, the study analyzed teaching behavior with elementary school teachers and students. In future study, it is needed to analyze teaching behavior with middle and high school teachers and students and compare differences among elementary, middle and high school. And secondly, it is also required to analyze teaching behavior perceived by prospective teachers and elementary school students as well as elementary school teachers and to test the differences.
