· Research topics: The purpose is to present the limitations of the current Parents' Association Ordinance and the direction of the ordinance revision · Research background: It is necessary to respond to changes in the school environment, such as the increase in dual-income households, the diversification of school types, and the lack of time for parent participation. · Differences from prior research: Comparison and analysis of the parents' association ordinances of 16 municipal education offices in detail · Research method: Using Content Analysis Technique, Comparison and Analysis of Parents' Association Ordinances · Research results: There is a difference in the expected effect of the parents' association ordinances of each municipal school board. The Parents' Association Ordinance of the Metropolitan Office of Education stipulates that each local government is the main body. According to the Metropolitan Office of Education, additional functions of the Parents' Association are proposed. Only some municipal education offices have separate regulations for consecutive terms and tenures. · Contribution points and expected effects: The results of this study are expected to provide basic data for policy improvement and to respond to the changing social environment and promote parents' participation in education through the revision of ordinances.
