한국 여성연쇄살인사건의 여성학적 재조명 - 유영철, 강호순 연쇄살인사건 사례분석

86년 화성연쇄살인사건과 94년 지존파사건, 94년 은보형사건, 2004 유영철의 부녀자 연쇄살인 등 여성, 어린이, 노약자등 사회적 약자를 상대로 한 연쇄살인이 계속되고 있다. 2009년 또다시 한국사회는 강호순의 부녀자 연쇄살인으로 여성연쇄살인에 대한 관심과 연구가 필요함을 인식하게 되었다. 여성연쇄살인범의 경우에는 사회적 약자가 부자에 대한 보복, 여성에 대한 증오심을 해소, 성적인 쾌락을 위해 살인을 저지른 경우이다. 경제적 이유보다는 사회의 약자로서 자신의 소외감에 대한 보상심리를 여성, 노약자를 대상으로 해소했다고 볼 수 있다. 이렇듯 여성연쇄살인 범죄의 경우에는 일반적인 범죄분석과 범죄대책, 수감대책으로는 계속되는 여성연쇄살인을 막을 수 없고 여성범죄피해자의 인권보호가 될 수 없다는 것을 연쇄살인범죄의 범행동기, 수법 등을 통해 알 수 있다. 유영철, 강호순과 같이 사창가 주변에서 거주하며 어린시절을 보내야 하는 청소년들에 대한 대책, 성매매업소 여성들의 일자리마련과 같은 근본적인 사회적 약자 보호대책은 범죄예방차원에서도 지속적이고 현실적으로 이루어져야 할 것이다. 이러한 연쇄살인범에 대한 논의는 경찰, 검찰만이 아니라 여성계, 학계, 사회적, 정부적 차원에서 이루어 져야할 것이다.
Abstract
The victims of Hwasung serial murder in 1986, Gijonpa serial murder in 1994, Enbohyung case in 2004 and Yooyoungchul serial murder in 2004 are women, children and old people. In 2009, Korea Society realized that we need concern on the female serial murder because of Kanghosoon case. The reasons of Female serial murder are the revenge of the rich, the hatred of women, sexual pleasures. We can say that the cause of serial murder is not because of the solution of the money problem but because of the break of social isolation. The female serial murder can not be protected by the common crime analysis. It requires radical policy for the youth who spend their childhood near a red-light district and jobs for female prostitutes. Korea government should prepare the durable social protection for the weakness as the crime prevention policies. Discussion on the serial murder is necessary not only police and prosecutor but also women association ,academic circles, NGO and government.
