이 논문은 세계화 시대 국민국가의 지위와 역할에 대한 논의에서 부하린의 국가자본주의론을 받아들이는 것이 논의의 발전에 도움이 된다는 취지에서 작성되었다. 부하린은 제1차 세계화 시대 자본주의가 제국주의로 나아가고 이어서 전쟁으로치닫는 현상을 분석하기 위해 세계경제와 국가자본주의 트러스트라는 용어를 주조했다. 부하린은 자본주의가 세계적 체제로 등장했기 때문에 개별 국가들의 자본주의 이전에 세계경제라는 범주가 필요함을 주장했고, 자본축적을 위한 국가의 노력이상부구조로서의 국가를 넘어서 집합적 자본의 역할을 수행한다는 점을 주장했다. 그의 이런 기여는 현대의 세계화 논의에서 자본의 세계화 경향과 함께 국민국가의 국가자본주의화 경향이라는 두 가지 추세를 갖고 접근할 때 자본주의 체제의동학을 더 잘 이해할 수 있다는 함의를 지닌다.
Abstract
This article asserts that N. Bukharin’s contribution to the classical marxism is to help the development of the debate on the position and role of the state in the age of the globalization. Bukharin articulated the world economy and the state capitalist trust in order to analyze to the drive of capitalism to imperialism and WWI in the first globalisation period(1870~1914). Bukharin argue that the category of the world economy ought to introduce prior to national capitalism for capitalism is worldwide system, and that state as a superstructure is transformed to collective capital owing to the state’s effort to preserve and promote the capital accumulation. The essence of the Bukharin’s analysis is that in order to understand the dynamics of the capitalist system, it is needed to understand the trend of the capital globalization as well as the tendency of the state capitalism of the national state. Bukharin’s analysis to the world economy and imperialism must have the relevance today.
