조선 전기 『苕溪漁隱叢話』의 수용과 활용 사례

Abstract

『Chogyeeoeunchonghwa(苕溪漁隱叢話)』(hereafter,『Eoeunc- honghwa』) is an anthology completed by Hoja(胡仔, 1110~1170) in 1151(for earlier collection) and 1167(for later collection). In the preface of 『Doinsiwha(東人詩話)』, it was mentioned as a model critique along with 『Sihwachongjip(詩話總龜)』, 『Siinoaksul(詩人玉屑)』, and 『Silimgwanggi(詩林廣記)』. However, it was not possible to secure enough data to identify their existence or usage patterns through previous searches using book names or authors as keywords . In this paper, as a way to overcome these limitations, we paid attention to two annotation books compiled in the early Joseon Dynasty . In the annotation work, which was carried out by the king's order, various books including Confucian scriptures, history books, thought books, and anthologies were cited. Among the literary books, anthologies in the Song and Yuan dynasties, which existed only in records, were directly or indirectly cited abundantly. 『 Eoeunchonghwa 』 was also able to supplement data that could not be found by keyword search through examples cited in the annotations. For the annotations, there were quotations by way of identifying sources like 'Eoeunchonghwa(漁隱叢話)', 'Eoeunsiwha(漁隱詩話), 'Hochogye(胡苕溪)', 'Chogyeeoeun((苕溪) 漁隱)' etc, and there were also cases where the actual original texts were taken from Eoeunchonghwa while ostensibly referring to other texts. It is presumed that this phenomenon resulted from the fact that the use of collection is efficient compared to searching for individual anthologies one by one, since related materials were collected centering on a specific writer or material according to the nature of the collection. In particular,『Eoeunchonghwa』 placed the writers in chronological order, and it is thought that, even at the time, they were fully aware of the fact that the discussion and dialectic were strictly recorded. In addition to 『Eoeunchonghwa』 , there are many unknown literatures in two annotation books , and among books in other fields, there is something that needs to be reviewed in relation to literature . In the future, we will continue to widely introduce the existence and utilization aspects of individual collections of poems and pictures cited in the annotations, and furthermore, it will be also a task to comprehensively grasp the contents and characteristics of the annotations. If these works are accumulated, it will be possible to create an opportunity to approach the literary criticism of the early Joseon Dynasty with objective and empirical data.
