전문상담교사가 인식한 학교정신건강 문제 및 개입에 관한 질적 연구

본 연구에서는 학교 전문상담교사가 인식한 학생들의 정신건강문제는 무엇이며, 이러한문제들에 대하여 현재 어떤 개입이 이루어지는, 앞으로 학생들의 정신건강 문제에 대처하기 위해 어떤 노력들이 이루어져야 하는지를 파악해 보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 학교교사 및 전문상담교사로서 10년 이상의 경험을 갖고 있는 전문상담교사를 대상으로 심층면접조사를 실시하였고 질적 분석을 하였다. 총 10사례를 합의에 의한 질적 연구법(Consensual Qualitative Research; CQR)으로 분석한 결과, 학생의 개인 내적인 심리적인 문제, 학생의 정신건강에 영향을 미치는 가정환경 문제, 상담자의 개입방식, 학교정신건강문제에 대처하기 위한 향후 대처 방안이라는 4개의 주제와 총 22개의 중심영역으로 요약되었다. 본 연구는 학교정신건강문제에 대처하기 위한 예방 및 상담개입 프로그램의 개발과 서비스 체계 구축, 지원을 위한 법률적, 제도적 측면에서의 기초자료를 제공해 줄 것이다.
Abstract
This study aimed to explore school mental health problems and intervention services in school by investigating their perceptions through interviewing school counselors. For this study, 10 school counselors who have provided counseling services in middle and high schools were asked to participate in-depth interview. A analysis of CQR(Consensual Qualitative Research) was conducted as a qualitative analysis. The results came down to four theme and 22 domains for consideration in (a) students’ intrapsychic mental health problems, (b) family issues affecting to students’ mental health problems, (c) the ways to intervene mental health service in school, and (d) ideas for the development of mental health programs and providing services in school. This study will be used as a fundamental reference for understanding school mental health problems and building helpful intervention ways in school.
