본 연구에서는 고등학생 학급 짝꿍간의 자기지각과 상대방 지각을 통하여 짝꿍간의 성격유사성, 상호성, 및 호감간의 관계를 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 남녀 고등학생 각각 60쌍의 학급짝꿍(모두 동성 짝꿍임)을 대상으로 연구하였다. 각 쌍에게 빅-5 성격이론을 근거로 선정한 문항들에서 자신과 상대방 짝꿍을 각각 평가하도록 하였으며, 상대방 짝꿍에 대한 호감 크기를 알아보았다. 주요 결과로는 첫째, 짝꿍간 평가의 상호성을 알아본 결과, 짝꿍간 호감의 상호성은 매우 크게 나타난 반면, 성격평가의 상호성은 상대적으로 작았다. 둘째, 짝꿍간의 성격프로파일 일치도 크기로 알아 본 실제 유사성, 가정된 유사성, 및 이해 지표에서 짝꿍들간에는 실제 유사성과 가정된 유사성이 매우 낮았으나, 상대방 성격에 대해서는 비교적 정확하게 파악하고 있었다. 마지막으로 청소년 짝꿍들간의 실제 유사성, 가정된 유사성, 및 이해의 크기에 따른 상대방에 대한 호감크기는 다르게 나타나지 않았다.
Abstract
The present research is aim to find the relations among similarity of personality trait, reciprocity, understanding, and liking using self and partner perceptions in high school student pairs. Participants were 120 same sex student's class pairs (60 male pairs, 60 female pairs). They estimated their own and partner's traits using "Big-Five" model of personality. The results are as follows: First of all, reciprocity between student pairs is much greater in liking than in trait perceptions. Among reciprocity indices of the traits, those of culture and agreeableness are higher than those of the other traits. Second, we used profile congruence index of pairs to find the magnitude of pairs' actual similarity, assumed similarity and understanding. Level of understanding between pair is high, but actual and assumed similarities are very small. Finally, there is no any evidence of the relations between actual similarity and liking, assumed similarity and liking, understanding and liking respectively.
