본 연구에서는 고등학생들이 진로를 결정하는 과정에서 영향을 받을 수 있는 진로결정장애를 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 대학진학의 진로결정을 앞두고 있는 고등학생 380명(일반계=221명, 실업계=159명)을 표집하여 고등학교 계열에 따라 진로결정과정 및 진로결정장애에 차이가 있는지 알아보기 위해 t-검증을 하였고, 고등학교 계열에 따라 진로결정과정에 영향을 주는 진로결정장애를 알아보기 위해 경로 및 인과관계 분석을 하였다. t-검증의 결과, 고등학교 계열에 따라 유의미한 차이를 보였고, 일반계 고등학생들은 바람직한 진로결정의 점수가 높은 반면에, 실업계 고등학생들은 진로결정장애의 점수가 높게 나타났다. 경로 및 인과관계를 분석한 결과, 일반계 고등학생들의 경우 진로결정장애 중 정보결여가 자기이해, 직업이해, 진로탐색, 진로계획에 매우 높은 부적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 진로편견 및 심적부담 역시 부적인 영향을 미치지만 그 영향력은 다소 낮은 편이었다. 그러나 동기결여는 자기이해를 제외한 나머지 직업이해, 진로탐색, 진로계획에 높은 부적 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 한편, 실업계 고등학생들의 경우 진로결정장애 중 정보결여가 자기이해, 직업이해, 진로탐색, 진로계획에 매우 높은 부적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 동기결여 및 심적부담도 역시 부적 영향을 미치지만 그 영향력은 다소 낮은 편이었다. 그러나 진로편견은 일반계 고등학생들과는 정반대로 자기이해, 직업이해, 진로탐색, 진로계획에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
The present study analyzed career decision-making difficulties affecting the career decision-making of high school students. The subjects were 380 high school students. The t-test, analysis of path were employed to examine the research questions. The results were as follows; (1) There was a meaningful difference between general and vocational high school students in career decision-making, level of general high school students was higher than vocational high school students. (2) There was a meaningful difference between general and vocational high school students in career decision-making difficulties, level of vocational high school students was higher than general high school students. (3) In the general high school students, lack of information, career prejudice, lack of motivation, mental burden were effected to negatively career decision-making. (4) In the vocational high school students, lack of information, lack of motivation, mental burden were effected to negatively career decision-making, but career prejudice was effected to positively career decision-making.
