영재아의 정서안정을 위한 통합적 집단 상담 프로그램 개발 및 효과성 연구

초록

본 연구의 목적은 영재아의 정서 안정을 위한 통합적 집단 상담 프로그램을 개발하고 그 효과성을 검증하는 것이다. 먼저 프로그램 개발을 위해 체제적 상담 프로그램 개발 모형에 따라 영재 학급 학생 30명에게 요구 조사를 실시하고, 과제 및 대상 분석을 하여 이를 근거로 설계 준거를 설정하였다. 이어서 통합적 상담 접근에 따른 프로그램 지침서를 구성하고 예비 실험을 실시한 후, 이를 기반으로 최종 프로그램을 개발하였다. 프로그램 효과성 검증을 위해서는 영재 학급이나 센터 참가 학생 30명 중 15명을 실험 집단에 15명은 통제 집단에 배정한 후, 실험 집단에만 7주 동안 14회기의 영재아 정서 안정을 위한 통합적 집단 상담 프로그램을 실시하였다. 프로그램 효과성 검증을 위해 사용된 검사 도구는 본 연구를 위해 개발한 영재아 정서 척도이다. 효과검증을 위한 다변량 공분산 분석 결과, 통제 집단과 실험 집단은 영재아 정서 사후 검사에서 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 이는 본 연구에서 개발한 통합적 집단 상담 프로그램이 영재아의 정서안정에 효과적임을 시사한다.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop an integrative group counseling program for the emotional stability of gifted children and investigate the program's effectiveness on the emotional stability of gifted children according to the systematic counseling program developing model. Need analysis was conducted with 30 children of the gifted class and the program guide was developed based on task and target population analysis. In verifying the effectiveness of the program, 15 gifted children participated in the program while the other 15 children were placed in a control group. The gifted children's emotion index (Cronbach's α=0.72) was developed for this program's evaluation based on preliminary testing of 98 children of a gifted children's education center. The experimental group participated in 14 sessions of the integrative group counseling program for the emotional stability of gifted children over the course of 7 weeks. As a result of statistical analysis using SPSS 12.0, compared to the control group, the experimental group exhibited significant differences in some sub-factors of the gifted children's emotional index: positive and negative self-recognition, a pro-social attitude, interpersonal sensitivity, and functional perfectionism.
