Abstract

Japanese Resources Diplomacy(JRD) can be interpreted in many ways than one. This thesis aims to interpret and evaluate on JRD. First, the Japanese energy policy moved to an oil energy from the coal energy. This was the policy that Japan gave priority to economy and effectiveness over. This policy was the result that fitted the energy order, the United States led practically and was a plot to maximize Japanese national interest. Second, it was to adapt itself to the order that the United States led practically, and the possibility of the JRD become restrictive, but Japan made full use of the technology that it might be said that it was a Japanese diplomacy card in the limit and was going to open a diplomatic range. Third, Japan performed administrative advice in conjunction with an energy problem surely. In addition, relevant ministries and agencies put power together and concentrated on an energy problem. It is to let us think with the way which resources poverty country must do. These were the actual situations of the Japanese Resources Diplomacy, and called Japanese model.
