Abstract
(Background and Purpose) Urban parks are a very important factor as a resting place for urban people, and various urban parks are located in the city which are open to urban residents. In particular, an urban park is formed along the Han River in Seoul, providing various uses and rest for urban residents. Among the various urban parks located along the Han River in Seoul, identifying the interests and perceptions of modern people about urban parks by targeting representative Seoul Forest Park, Seonyudo Park, and Yeouido Park will be important data for planning urban parks in the future era and for urban parks to play their role as major public goods of the city. (Method) This study conducted keyword analysis using text mining, a representative analysis method of big data, to conduct keyword analysis of major urban parks in Seoul. By using the Textom program, all keywords in each social media were collected and refined, and basic data analysis was conducted. Through this, frequency analysis and TF-IDF analysis were conducted, network analysis was conducted through the Ucinet6.0 program, connection degree centrality analysis and CONCOR analysis were conducted, and network visualization analysis was conducted through NetDraw. (Results) The main results of the study are summarized as follows. First, high-level keywords such as Seoul and walking appear in each city park, and it can be seen that they are recognized by everyone as a place for citizens to take a walk and rest in the city center of Seoul. Second, in the case of Seoul Forest Park, unlike other city parks, keywords related to forests are receiving the most attention, and activities related to forests such as walking, experiences, and rest are being paid to them. Third, in the case of Seonyudo Park, keywords related to the Han River are at the center, and it can be seen that people are paying attention to photographs, photographs, and cherry blossom landscapes reflecting the characteristics of architecture and landscaping. Fourth, in the case of Yeouido Park, it can be seen that keywords related to activities in the city such as events and festivals are attracting attention from people about accessibility linked to the Han River Park. (Conclusions) The three urban parks selected in this study are commonly located along the Han River and serve as walking spaces for urban residents, but they can be classified differently based on the contents perceived by citizens. Seoul Forest Park is an experience and relaxation related to forests, Seonyudo Park is an activity that reflects the scenery of the Han River and space, Yeouido Park is an event and festival in the city center, and each urban park has a variety of purposes and characteristics for citizens.
