Textbooks play a very important role in language education. Especially in spoken language education, skill-based textbooks are necessary. KFL education, however, has just begun developing skill-based textbooks recently and further more, these textbooks are rarely published for the purpose of improving listening skills. Recognizing these problems, Yonsei KLI has developed a series of skill-based textbooks which include listening skills. This paper aims to aid the development of listening textbooks in the future, looking into developing the content and organization of <Korean Listening within a Month–IntermediateⅠ> published in 2008. This new book targets intermediate learners just finishing the beginner's level, and features improving listening strategies, motivating learners, and applying vocabulary and grammar. Chapter 2 of this paper shows the development of methodology and procedures step by step, Chapter 3 presents a variety of tasks focused on 9 kinds of listening strategies(understanding specific contents, inference, grasping discourse elements, finding information, finding clues, finding reasons, putting content in order, solving problems, summarizing)
