Now the MOOC is rising as a new education platform in the world. It is originated by the development of Information Technology and the need of democratization of education. This educational reformation so called 'MOOC' is giving influence to all sectors of education, and the change and expectative changing possibility caused by it cannot be uttered easily. According to this importance of MOOC trend we have looked into the educational change with an investigation about the status of it, especially in the foreign language education. This article has argued that Korean language courses should be given priority over the Korean study in Global MOOC. Those courses will be served as gatekeepers to the world undergraduate students including the K-culture fans who are interested in Korean culture. This paper exemplified the goal of an intermediate Korean language course and the part of the syllabus following the model of the e-learning framework proposed by Khan. Korean language courses in global MOOC should pursue not only the promotion of language proficiency but also the critical discourse analysis through the class task and activities.
