한국어 어휘 교육 방안 연구의 동향 분석 - 학위논문을 중심으로 -

한국어 어휘 교육 연구의 동향을 살펴보는 것을 통해 앞으로 한국어 어휘 교육 연구가 나아가야할 방향을 모색하고자 하였다. 먼저, RISS에서 ‘한국어 어휘 교육’을 키워드로 학위논문을 살펴본 후, 관련 논문만을 선정하여 연도, 학습자 특성, 어휘 종류 등의 기준을 토대로 분류하였고, 동향을 살펴보았다. 그 결과, 연도별 동향은 연구의 경향에 따라 1기부터 3기까지 나눌 수 있었고, 학습자 숙달도는 초·중·고급이 고루 나타났으며, 학습자 언어권은 중국어, 학습 목적은 결혼이주 여성을 대상으로 한 연구가 가장 많았다. 나아가 한자어 교육 연구가 가장 많았으며, 대체적으로 자료 분석, 대조 연구, 설문조사 등 다양한 연구 방법을 사용하였다. 교육 방안 제시 형태는 하나의 수업을 대상으로 하는 교육 방안 및 실제 제시 형태가 가장 많이 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 통해 다양한 언어권에 대한 연구, 숙달도별 연구, 특수목적 학습자에 대한 연구, 다양한 어휘 종류에 대한 연구가 더욱 필요하며, 연구방법에서는 실험연구를 통한 교육 방안 검증이 필요함을 알 수 있었다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to research what direction the Korean vocabulary education had to be steered by identifying the trends of research on Korean vocabulary education. Initially, I searched the RISS with the keyword “Korean vocabulary education” and organized the relevant data by year, learner characteristics, and vocabulary type etc. Through the data analysis, I was able to identify several trends. The trend by could be divided into three different time periods depending on the trend of study. Although research on learner proficiency was evenly represented, the studies on the nationality of target learners were mostly represented by Chinese while studies on the types of learners were mostly represented by married foreign immigrant women. Overall, Traditional Chinese (Hanja) contributed the largest proportion of research and I incorporated a variety of research methods such as teaching material analysis, experimental research and surveys in my research. As for the measures for teaching, research on teaching methods were the most popular. Through these results, I propose that more research needs to be done based on the geography of language, proficiency levels, special purposes, and various languages while the measures for teaching be objectively evaluated through this research.
