성북동 일대 명승 사적을 노래한 한문학 유산

이 논문은 성북동을 소개한 옛 문헌을 찾아 분석하고 소개한 것이다. 성북동은 도성에서 가까우면서 한적하고 아름다운 자연경관을 갖춘 나들이 공간이다. 특히 봄철에는 복숭아꽃이 만개하여 도성 사람들의 마음을 설레게 하였다. 그만큼 많은 시인 묵객이 이곳을 찾았기에 적지 않은 한문학 창작이 이곳에서 이루어졌을 개연성이 크다. 그러나 기대만큼 많은 시문이 발견되지는 않는다. 이곳이 창작 공간이 된 것은 분명하나, 곧장 창작 소재로 활용되지는 않은 것이다. 이런 까닭에 성북동 지역 문화 콘텐츠 개발에 한문학 유산이 적극적으로 활용되지 못한 것 같다. 성북동을 기록한 문헌 자료가 넉넉하지는 못하지만, 과거의 문헌에서 관련 기록을 찾아내어 소개할 필요가 제기된다. 이에 부족하나마 성북동 공간을 시문으로 구현한 한문학 유산을 발굴하여 소개하였다. 먼저 여러 문헌 자료를 분석하여 성북동 일대에 존재하는 명승 사적을 조사하여 인문 지리적 성격을 알아보았고, 이어서 관련 한문학 작품 몇 편을 찾아서 소개하였다. 먼저 蔡濟恭이 1784년 봄에 기록한 「遊北渚洞記」와 나들이에 동행한 睦萬中이 기록한 「與樊巖公會游北屯」을 소개하였다. 이를 통해 성북동이 봄철에 꽃을 즐기는 나들이 공간으로 인기가 높았던 사실을 알아보았다. 이어서 鄭士龍이 1552년에 창작한 시와 尹愭가 1793년에 창작한 시 「上巳遊北渚洞」을 통해 성북동이 修禊의 장소로 활용된 사실을 알아보았다. 아울러 金鑢가 1815년경에 창작한 「晩春游覽 絶句十二首」를 통해 성북동 주변의 여러 명소가 나들이 코스로 묶여 많은 이의 사랑을 받았던 사실을 알아보았다. 여전히 부족하지만, 이를 토대로 관련 있는 소중한 역사 흔적들이 계속 발굴되고 그 속에 깃든 의미 있는 사연들이 복원되어 이 지역의 역사성이 더욱 강화될 수 있기를 바란다. 또 다양한 지역 콘텐츠가 개발되어 현대의 시민들에게도 소중한 공간으로 추억될 수 있기를 기대한다.
Abstract
This thesis found, analyzed, and introduced old literature that introduced Seongbuk-dong(城北洞). Seongbuk-dong, close to the capital city, is an outing space with a quiet and beautiful natural scenery. Especially in spring, peach blossoms were in full bloom, making people's hearts excited. In addition, it is highly likely that many poets visited and created many literary works. However, there were not as many poems left as expected. Although this place became a space for creation, It was not immediately used as a creative material. Because of this, it seems that the old literary heritage was not actively utilized in the development of cultural contents in the Seongbuk-dong region. Although there is not enough literature on Seongbuk-dong, The need to find and introduce relevant records from past literature is raised. So, even if it is not enough, I attempted to discover and introduce the literary heritage that embodied the Seongbuk-dong space as poetry. First, by examining the historical sites of scenic spots in the Seongbuk-dong area through various literature data, the humanities and geographic characteristics of this area were investigated. Subsequently, several related literary works were introduced. First of all, I introduced the 「遊北渚洞記」 created by 蔡濟恭 in the spring of 1784 and the 「與樊巖公會游北屯」 created by 睦萬中 at the same time. Through this, found out that Seongbuk-dong was very popular as an outing space to enjoy flowers in spring. Next, introduced a poem created by 鄭士龍 in 1552 and 「上巳遊北渚洞」 by 尹愭 in 1793. Through this, found out that Seongbuk-dong was used as a place to 修禊. In addition, introduced the 「晩春游覽 絶句十二首」, created around 1815 by 金鑢. Through this, we found out that the spaces in Seongbuk-dong and surrounding areas were grouped together and loved by people who traveled. Although it is still lacking, I hope that based on this, valuable historical traces related to it will continue to be discovered, and meaningful stories in it will be restored, so that the historicity of the region can be further strengthened. In addition, it is expected that various local contents will be developed so that it can be remembered as a valuable space for modern citizens.
