Abstract

This thesis was designed with the discovery and diffusion of Seoul Nothern East 4 wards narrative heritage. BeonAm Chae Jaegong’s Myongdeogdong was dealt as an example. Based on the outstanding results of previous studies, this thesis partially supplemented information from previous studies. Methodologically, the case of modern map analysis was applied as a method to enhance the spatial sense of literary text research. In terms of content, in order to complement the previous studies centered on Gi(記) related to Myeongdeogdong, some new Sino-Korean poems that vividly conveys the scenery of Myeongdeogdong was introduced. In addition, the period was subdivided and specified in detail about the rough composition of the 1780s, which was generally used in previous studies. In the early days, Myeongdeogdong was a planned retirement site and a resting place for utopia in the life of a high public servant. In the late 1780s, it was a place of retreat to avoid political hardship. Among the poems of this period, it is worth noting the achievement of a work that sympathized with the lives and pains of the people who lived in remote mountains outside the capital.
