본 연구에서는 양성평등 교육을 위해 학교교육과정 내에서 교과활동, 재량활동, 특별활동 교육과정을 구성하고, 이를 운영한 것이 양성평등의식에 어떠한 영향을 주는지를 고찰한다. 따라서 독립변인은 교과, 재량, 특별 교육과정의 구성과 운영 여부이고, 종속변인은 학생의 양성평등의식 향상 정도이다. 학생들의 양성평등의식 변화를 살펴보면, 성역할에서는 양성평등교육과정을 구성하여 6주간 적용시킨 실험집단은 기존의 교육과정에 따라 수업을 운영한 통제집단보다 성역할, 진로이해, 성관념의 평균이 높았고, p<.05수준에서 유의미하게 나타났다. 양성평등교육과정을 구성하여 운영하면 학생들의 성역할, 진로이해, 성관념 등을 포함하는 양성평등의식이 향상됨을 알 수 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of curriculum construction for the improvement of gender equality consciousness in the elementary social studies. This study hypothesized that after constructing and executing a gender equality curriculum , The students(teachers) in the experiment group will show significantly higher improvement than the students(teachers) control group in gender equality consciousness. This study has performed investigations into the literature and quantity research method. Subjects of this study were 2861 students and 97 teachers. curriculum construction include school subjects, discretional activities and special activities. we have collected their replies, analyze the data for this study. The main results of this study are summarized as follows :First, The student experiment group was higher than the student control group in gender equality consciousness. There was significant relationships between curriculum construction and the gender equality consciousness of students.
