소아암 가족의 심리사회적 서비스 요구- 환아 부모의 경험을 중심으로 -

초록

본 연구는 소아암 환아 가족의 심리사회적 서비스 요구에 대해 이해하고, 이를 토대로 가족복지의 실천적 대안을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구 참여자는 만 18세 이하에 소아암 진단을 받고 조사 시점에 모든 암 관련 치료가 종료된 소아암 환아 부모 11명이었으며, 이들을 대상으로 개별 심층면접을 진행하였다. 면접 내용은 모두 필사되었으며, 면접을 통해 얻어진 자료는 근거이론을 토대로 실체적 코딩과 이론적 코딩의 과정을 거쳤다. 분석 결과, 부모에 대한 심리적지지, 부부상담, 형제자매에 대한 지원, 소아암 관련 정보제공, 사별애도 프로그램, 사회적 인식개선과 옹호 등의 6가지 서비스요구와 13가지 하위 범주가 도출되었다. 연구 결과를 토대로 소아암 가족을 통합적으로 지원할 수 있는 심리사회적 서비스의 필요성과 이에 대한 서비스 대안을 제시하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand psychosocial service needs of families with childhood cancer, and discuss on the implications based on the results. Eleven parents with childhood cancer children, whom were completed cancer related treatment at the time of interview participated in-depth interviews. The interviews were transcribed, and analyzed with grounded theory. The participants reported psychosocial service needs as follows; psychological support, couple counseling, sibling supports, information services, bereavement services, and advocacy. Based on the results, we suggested psychosocial services for families with childhood cancer.
