가정폭력 피해여성의 경찰 신고경험에 관한 연구

본 연구의 목적은 가정폭력을 경찰에 신고한 피해여성의 신고경험을 파악함으로써 효과적인 사회복지서비스 제공 방안을 모색하는 것이다. 이를 위해 상이한 인구사회학적 특성을 가진 신고경험이 있는 6명의 가정폭력 피해여성을 대상으로 심층면담을 실시하였다. Giorgi의 현상학적 연구방법을 사용하여 분석한 결과 신고경험의 구성요소는 “인고의 세월”, “인내의 한계에 이르러 최후의 도움 찾기”, “기대와 다른 신고제도에 대해 실망함”, “생존하는 힘을 얻음”으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 토대로 가정폭력의 신고와 관련된 사회복지실천 및 정책 함의를 제시하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to explore the effective social work service through the research on the battered women's experience in calling the police. In this regard, we made depth interviews with six battered women who were experienced on calling the police with various socio-demographic characteristics. As a result of the analysis by the Giorgi's Phenomenological research method, we found that experience of calling the police were composed of "the period of patience", "the trial to find the final help derived from the end of patience", " the disappointment of police calling system different from the expectation" and " the achievement of the impetus for survivals". Based on this result of study, we suggest the implications of social work practice and policy related to calling the police of family violence.
