이 연구의 목적은 청소년의 쓰기 문화를 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 중학생의 자기 응답 보고 자료를 분석하였다. 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 중학생의 쓰기 문화는 학습과 일상생활로 구분되어 나타났다. 학습과 일상에서 쓰기는 각각 타인의 시선과 자기 자신에게 초점이 있었다. 학습 상황의 쓰기 문화와 관련된 테마는 평가에 적응하기, 형식 지키기, 부담스러운 쓰기가 있었다. 일상생활의 쓰기 문화와 관련된 테마는 자기 자신을 표현하기, 진화된 일기, 의사소통, 형식으로 부터의 자유가 있었다. 또한, 학습 측면에서 쓰기를 긍정적으로 인식하고 있는 것을 파악할 수 있었다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 중학생의 쓰기 문화가 학습과 일상의 이중 체계로 구성되어 있다는 점, 문식 실천으로서 면모가 있다는 점, 필자로 중학생을 인정해야 하는 점, 쓰기에 대한 긍정적 인식이 학습에 국한되어 있다는 점을 지적하였다.
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the adolescent writing culture. For this purpose, the self-response report data of middle school students were analyzed. The main results are as follows. The writing culture of middle school students was divided into learning situations and daily life. Learning and writing in everyday life focused on the gaze of others and one´s own self. Themes related to the writing culture of the learning situation included adapting to evaluations, maintaining the format, and burdensome writing. Themes related to the writing culture of everyday life included self-expression, an evolved diary, communication, and freedom from form. Moreover, it was possible to grasp that writing was perceived positively in learning. The results showed that the writing culture of middle school students consists of a dual system of learning and daily life, that it has aspects of a practice of literacy, that middle school students must be recognized as writers, and that positive perceptions about writing are limited to learning.
