현대시의 장(場) 연구- 비유와 리듬의 상관성을 중심으로 -

이 논문은 현대시에서 비유와 리듬이 장(場, field) 개념을 통해 기술될 수 있으며, 이 둘이 만들어내는 장이 동일한 것임을 밝히려는 목적으로 작성되었다. 비유에서의 핵심어(비유적인 중심 대상)는 리듬에서도 핵심어(소리-뜻의 중심 대상)다. 이것은 주체에게 핵심적인 의미를 품은 말이 의식적, 무의식적인 박동을 거쳐 소리로서도 반복되기 때문이다. 이 핵심어가 한편으로는 비유의 중심에 놓이면서 다른 의미들을 조직화해나가고, 다른 한편으로는 리듬의 중심에 놓이면서 다른 소리들을 조직화해나간다. 이를 「가재미」(문태준), 「느낌」(이성복), 「배를 밀며」(장석남)의 분석을 통해 살펴보았다. 비유와 리듬이 공히 의미론의 소관이라는 것, 비유적인 핵심은 소리-뜻의 핵심이기도 하다는 사실이 이 시들을 통해 확인되었다. 현대시에서의 장은 이처럼 의미와 소리가 결합된, 일원론적 체계를 구현하는 핵심적인 개념이다.
Abstract
This article primarily focuses on finding a concept of the field of metaphor and rhythm, which are same field, for the analysis method in the Korean modern poetry. The keyword in the metaphor(thre metaphoric core) and rhythm(the core of the sound-meaning), which are same. Because the conscious and unconscious repetition of a keyword in the poem brings sounds and meanings. Through the keyword, one side organizes various meanings in the center of the metaphor, another arranges difference sounds in the center of the rhythm. This paper analyzed three poems that 가재미Gajaemi by Mun Tae-jun, 느낌Neukkim by Lee Seong-bok and 배를 밀며Baeleul Milmyeo by Jang Seok-nam. This study demonstrated convincingly that the metaphoric core and the core of the sound-meaning, which are same. The concept of field is important concept to implement the monistic system in the Korean modern poetry.
