이 글은 김춘수의 무의미 시론과 숭고의 관련성, 그리고 무의미 시론과 동양적사유와 숭고의 관련성에 집중한다. 또한 김춘수의 시론이 지닌 이론적이고 논리적특징과 그 너머를 지향하는 그의 이중적 태도 속에서 그의 시론의 본질적 지점을탐구하고자 했다. 김춘수에게 허무는 선험적인 관습으로부터 벗어나는 순간 가지게 되는 감정이다. 그는 이때 무제한적인 불안과 자유가 주체를 엄습한다고 말한다. 불안이라는불쾌의 감정과 자유라는 쾌의 감정이 동시에 주체를 사로잡는 것이다. 이 모순적 상태 속에서 주체가 무한과 비재로서의 세계를 경험하는 순간, 미지의 숭고와 대면하는 순간 새로운 자유로의 가능성이 열리게 된다. 김춘수는 시가 언어와 논리를 넘어서야 함을 역설하며, 논리로는 도달할 수 없는 세계인 선(禪)과 도(道)의 세계를 시의 본질적 국면이라 파악한다. 불교에서의선(禪)과 노자의 도(道)는 고정된 언어와 고정된 사유로는 파악할 수 없는 것으로,말해져 있지 않은 것으로서의 비밀과 무한한 자유로서의 미지를 향한 움직임이라는 숭고의 특성과 만난다고 하겠다.
Abstract
This article focus on the relevance of the sublime Kim Chun-su‘s Nonsense PoemTheory and the sublime, the relevance of Eastern thought and the sublime. In addition,this article is to study the essentially point of his poetics through duality of logicalattitude and illogical attitude. Kim Chun-su feel the emotion of nothingness when he get out of customary priori. At this time, he says unlimited uneasiness and liberty morbid the subject. The unpleasantfeelings as uneasiness and feelings of pleasure as liberty is fascinating the subjectat the same time. At the moment the subject experience world as infinity andnon-existence inn this contradictory state and face the sublime, the possibility ofa new liberty will open. Kim Chun-su argued that poem should go beyond language and logic. And hethinks it is essentially that world of Zen(禪) and Dao(道) can not reach as logic. Zen(禪) in Buddhism and Dao(道) claimed by Lao-Tzu is not grasped as fixed languageand fixed reason, and meets with the characteristics of the sublime as movementthat is covered secret and unknown of unlimited free.
