독일 하르쯔 국립공원 탐방객의 자연경관에 대한 정서적 평가

본 논문은 독일 하르쯔 국립공원을 방문한 탐방객들의 국립공원 경관에 대한 정서적 평가의 정도를 파악하고, 탐방객의 방문특성에 따른 정서적 평가의 차이를 탐색하는데 있다. 하르쯔 국립공원을 방문한 탐방객의특성을 파악하기 위하여 지정된 7개의 트레일을 직접 방문하여 주요 경관 지점에서 국립공원 경관을 직접 감상하는 탐방객에 대하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 또한 탐방객의 정서적 평가 정도를 확인하기 위하여 5점의 어의차이척도를 사용하여 설문지를 구성하였다. 분석의 결과, 하르쯔 국립공원을 방문한 탐방객은 남녀 비율은 유사하고, 연령은 50대 이상의 높은 연령대가 주였으며, 거주지 분포도 절반 이상이 국립공원이 속한 주에 거주하고있었으며, 방문빈도는 2~5회가 가장 많은 것으로 나타났다. 정서적 평가에 있어서는 국립공원 경관에 대하여정서적인 반응이 긍정적인 것으로 나타났다(mean=4.35). 방문특성과 관련하여 국립공원을 방문한 빈도와 정서적 평가의 정도는 상호 긍정적인 연관이 있는 것으로 보였으나, 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보이지는 않았다(p=0.081). 다만, 국립공원을 5회 이상 자주 방문한 탐방객의 경우에 정서적 평가의 개별 항목에 대해서 유의하게 차이를 보이는 것으로 나타나, 적은 방문빈도를 보이는 탐방객보다 국립공원 경관을 훨씬 즐겁고, 활동적인경관으로 인식하는 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
The aim of this study is to find out the degree of affective appraisal on natural landscape and to explore the differences by the characteristics of visitors to Harz National Park of Germany. In order to explore the characteristics of visitors to Harz National Park, the designated 7 trails were visited and the questionnaire was distributed to the visitors appreciating natural landscapes at the viewpoints. Affective appraisals of visitors were also measured by 5 point semantic differential scale. It was revealed that gender distribution of visitor was almost similar, and that the age of over 50 years took highest. Half of visitors lived in the same state locating National Park. Respondents visiting 2~5 times per year took highest. Visitors showed positive reaction of affective appraisals on National Park landscapes(mean=4.35). Although there was no significant difference in affective appraisals by the visiting frequencies(p=0.081), the more visiting numbers the more affective appraisals were shown. It was also shown that respondents visiting the park over 5 times per year recognised the Harz landscape as more pleasant and more active than respondents less visiting.
