本稿の目的は韓国と日本におけるマルチリンガルスピーチ評価モデルを両国のマルチリンガルスピーチコンテストの実践的事例を中心に明らかにすることである。2節では先行研究の概観と問題点について述べる。先行研究においては韓国と日本におけるマルチリンガルスピーチコンテスト(以下、「MSC」と呼ぶ)に関する研究は存在しないことを指摘し、本稿は両国の多言語･多文化社会への健康な定着に貢献できるという学問的意義があることを示す。また、MSCはCEFR(Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)においてマルチリンガル教育の評価モデルの一タイプとして捉えられていることを指摘する。3節では韓国と日本のMSCの実践的事例を概観する。特に、大会の主催機関別に分類した上で、各大会の開催方法、目的、参加者の資格や特徴、歴史などを説明する。4節では、3節で見た韓国と日本のMSCの特徴を中心に、両国のMSCにおける類似点と相違点についてそれぞれ述べる。さらにこのような類似点と相違点が見られる理由についても分析を行う。5節では2節-4節の内容を踏まえ、展望と残された課題について述べる。
Abstract
This study investigates multilingual speech evaluation models in Korea and Japan by focusing on practical cases of multilingual speech contests (MSCs). A literature review (Section 2) found no case studies of MSCs in Korea and Japan; accordingly, this study investigates how MSCs can benefit preparations for a multilingual, multicultural society in both countries. Section 2 also explains that MSCs are considered an evaluation model for multilingual education in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Section 3 describes practical cases of MSCs in Korea and Japan, explaining each contest’s method, purpose, participant characteristics, history, and other characteristics after classifying MSCs in the two countries by host organization. Section 4 provides an analysis of the similarities and differences between the MSCs in the two countries, and Section 5 presents the future outlook and remaining tasks.
