지역주민의 건강도(健康度) 지표 설정과 지역별 패턴 분석

이 연구의 목적은 우리나라 실정에 부합하는 지역별 건강도 실태를 측정하는 효율적 진단기법을 개발하고, 이를 토대로 건강도 측면에서 우리나라 도시의 공간적 특성과 지역적 패턴을 규명하는 것이다. 지역주민의 건강도를 효과적으로 대리할만한 지표 발굴은 자료가용성 등을 감안하여 건강행태, 질병이환, 심리건강, 건강인식 등 4개 부문의 11개 지표로 구성된 건강도 지표와 지수를 개발하였고, 자료는 2009년 지역사회건강조사를 활용하였다. 이 연구를 통해 우리나라 지역별 건강도는 권역별·도시규모별로 상이함이 확인되었고, 종합 건강도에 있어서도 지역간 격차가 존재하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 공간적 측면에서 우리나라 도시의 건강도 격차를 확인하고 지역적 패턴을 실증적으로 살펴보았다는데 일차적 의의를 둘 수 있다. 방법론적으로 건강의 지역간 차이를 종합적으로 살펴보기 위한 진단기법을 제시하였다는 점도 중요한 특징이다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop a diagnostic tool for measuring population health, and to figure out spatial patterns of population health. For investigating population health, it dealt with health behavior, disease morbidity, mental health, and health perception, and it developed an index with the combination of all four sectors. The body of longitudinal health data called Community Health Survey 2009 provides health data for this analysis. There were different spatial patterns of population health, and existed health disparities. This study contributes to develop a diagnostic tool for measuring population health. Moreover, it identified spatial patterns and disparities in health level with the diagnostic tool from the study.
