Abstract
The purpose of this report is to describe the change of writing curriculum and it's theories. Curriculum means educational objects, contents and course etc. The first curriculum was promulgated on August 1, 1955. This curriculum attached importance to ability of language performance. The second curriculum was promulgated in 1963. The curriculum was similar to the first curriculum. In 1972, the third curriculum was promulgated, and we found sentence type. This curriculum attached importance to knowledge of Korean and experience. In this times, writing was consist of two domains-spelling and creation. Until the 1970s, most of writing studies concerned with language experience. The fourth and 5th curriculum was so called developmental curriculum, because of demonstrative movement. During the 1980, a number of writing theories concerned with generative approaches. The 6～7th writing curriculum based on social interaction theories. The current popular theories concerning writing process, nature and its consequence on both the individual and society.
